  Which type of patient lift sling do I need?

Full body slings support patients with little or no weight-bearing ability. U-slings (divided leg) go on and off easily while seated. Toileting slings leave the lower body open for bathroom use, and mesh bath slings drain quickly for bathing and showering. Sit-to-stand slings are for patients who can bear some weight. When in doubt, ask the patient's nurse or therapist.

  Will your slings work with my patient lift?

Patient Aid slings are designed to work with most major patient lift brands. Check the compatibility details on each product page, or email us your lift's make and model and we'll confirm the right sling before you order.

  How do I choose the right sling size?

Each sling page lists its available sizes and weight capacity. Size by the patient's weight and build, and if they fall between sizes, email cs@patientaid.com with their height and weight and we'll recommend the best fit.

  What if the sling doesn't fit or isn't right?
